perhaps because it was not a problem for my use of loopers (EHX loopers allow 2 beats time error for quantize on the 1st loop wich define loop duration)

...and it was confirmed by Yamaha UK support,
  who said they didn't have a protocol for reporting back to Yamaha.

For every device that has latency, there's *always* someone who
doesn't notice it,
but generally as it gets up to towards 10mS it starts to be an issue.
