Re: Bidule crashes when Mobius in Host sync mode

Yes, that is correct. But I am not sure how well Bidule follows the AU
and VST protocols - I mean, Bidule has its own synchronisation
protocol (that works very well).

Under Windows XP it worked well.

Check that you have Mobius and Bidule set to the same (digital) clock
frequency as you are running the RME at. I normally use 48 kHz but
44,1 works just as well. For the RME you can chose to make it the
synch master (not for musical sync, just for digital audio code synch)
or to adapt. Try both settings.

For a moment, I thought that I had different clock frequency...
I tried everything you suggested, the problem is still here.

Also try the Bidule called "Synch". Connect it to the transport. Then
right click on the Mobius bidule and set it to synch to that Sync
bidule.

Are you referring to the "Sync to Midi Clock"/"Midi Clock to Sync" bidules ?
(doesn't work), or to "Sync Extractor" / "Sync Creator" bidules (I have no idea how to use those bidules) ?

And try also the Mobius setting "sync=In".

Are you sure ? The "Sync=in" setting was used in previous Mobius versions.
I'm using the last version - Mobius 2.5 - and the only settings showed here are:
- default
- None
- track
- Out
- Host
- Midi

According to the manual, Host is raccomended; in a software configuration it should work better than Midi (better for hardware sync configuration)

Anyway, I wrote about this issue on the Plogue Bidule forum hoping to solve it ASAP.

Thank you, Sir.
