Re: hoxton owl

Hi Sylvain, the organelle looks fantastic! Do you have any videos using it as a looper?

I got an Organelle for that: http://www.critterandguitari.com/blogs/news/54161668-introducing-the-organelle
Different approach, ~same result (+ USB midi).

I've built a looper for it (building on this awesome work by Marco Baumgartner but adding quantized sustain substitute: https://vimeo.com/87947601 )

The montreal assembly Count to five (buffer manipulator/looper/delay) is built on the same STM32F4 chip, so in theory you could build something similar with the owl: https://youtu.be/5fpAFzXC-to

Does the owl have external ram, or just the builtin ram of the STM32F4 chip? If that's the case, recording time may be too short for a looper...

Maybe OT, but is anybody using a Hoxton owl here?

C++/FAUST/PD-programmable guitar pedal and Eurorack module. I am not aware of any looper at this time, but the possibilities seem vast. I just got one and an exchange of ideas would be great.
