For sounds that are meant to be played either as part of an ensemble
or layered in live looping, a good general rule of thumb is to take
off some energy around 200 to 500 Hz, early on. Doing that to your
instrument will make it sound rather thin, but it will help the Loop
Police to hold off the Mud Mafia from infiltrating your recordings.
