As someone who is migrating from the Rang III to the Pig Infinity, and you are looking for 'undulating textures', the Infinity will be a lot less tap dancing and more instant gratification IMO. You sacrifice two loops, however (the Pig's two to the Rangs four).
Sent from an iThingy If you make it an octave lower it doubles it..
Cheers, Torben Scharling Right, except that this halves the loop time since you’re recording in stereo, right?
You can use the half speed function on a per loop basis to raise or lower by an octave. You can also control which output the loop or overdub is on if you use an A/B box to select which input your signal goes to.
Thanks John,
I discovered the Boomerang III seconds after posting, it looks very promising, except no panning control for each loop, nor individual pitch, but so far the best one I’ve seen.
I’ll look into the Pixtronix.

The Boomerang III will do this & I'm pretty sure the Pigtronix Infinity can too.
I am looking for a list of hardware loopers with the ability to have free-running (unsynched) loops.. Apart from the two I am aware of:
Boss RC-300
Electro Harmonix 22500 looper
TC Ditto x4, though the second loop’s length will always end in multiples of the 1st loop
..are there any other hardware loopers that allow loops of arbitrary lengths to run simultaneously?
The ability to change the playback speed a definite plus.
