tech question

Hey y'all,

I'm having a discussion with a friend about devices.  He was wondering about any devices on the market that have individual channel/track outs so you can mix each channel/track separate from the combined loop.  I told him I didn't know of anything and he'd be better off mixing the input before hitting the device or switching to Ableton or Mobius. 

Any other thoughts?
