Tune in this Sat. at 7:00pm ET at https://www.twitch.tv/ambientping for a live backyard performance by dreamSTATE, intermingled with some special Drone Day videos from across the country, including a premiere piece from Dirty Inputs. There's no need to get a Twitch account, but if you do get one, (it's free) then you can also use the chat room on the side, and subscribe for future PiNG streaming events. Twitch will be the PiNG's new home for the foreseeable future, as the stereo sound and video streaming qualities are very good (and it's free). - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Electronic ambient-drone duo dreamSTATE (Scott M2 + Jamie Todd) will be performing two fresh sets of evolving drones via modular and other hardware synths plus computer and iPad controlled virtual synthesizers. This will be their 7th Drone Day performance, on their favourite holiday! https://www.dreamstate.to dreamSTATE will be setting up outdoors in order to maintain practicing our physical distancing. Again we'll have the evolving and morphing light paintings of Stephen Lindsey aka General Chaos Visuals mixed with some URM and Scott M2 imagery and live-in-the-yard cameras. You'll have to provide the beverages and other treats for the trip though! Between sets we'll play the premiere of a new drone music video by Dirty Inputs (audio/visual artist Aaron Dawson). https://www.dirtyinputs.com There will also be a new drone video from Sara Wray Enns of Victoria, BC.
