Koji was born in Higashi-Osaka, Japan in 1977, Japanese. He started to play guitar at 14 yeards old and became a member of Dive in 1996.
After that, dive released many CDs and records in Japan, US, Australia, and Europe, featuring various artists from different kinds of music scenes. since 2001,
he has extended his music creation by bringing computer programing into his work and also appeared as an organizer for music events such as 'insectcollect'.
in 2002, released ' ATARAXIA ' from label called 'envivid records', produced by Kouichi Hara known as a sound engineer for Boredoms, 00I00 and etc.
Dive went on 'insectcollect tour' in the same year and made big success, especially in US, such us Chicago.
Recently, Koji has traveled a few times with his guitar and laptop through out Europe and Asia. Koji has been also playing an active part in composing and remixing as a solo artist while he has played with various international Artists.
Currently, he is vigorously pursuing possibilities of interaction between live music and duplication of electronic guitar signals made by a single guitar with various effects.
A movie was experimental constitution by improvisation together, and Koji and Kentaro Mizutani (movie writer of dive), did Live in Kobe ZINK on April 29, 2005.
I release a movie and a collection of works by guitar sound within June and plan now.
