Just as you are doing, do the long press of record to
erase that loop, then you will notice that the
Multiply LED is yellow.  Then do a Long press of
Multiply and ALL loops will be cleared, the screen
reverts back to showing how many loops you have set,
and the RAM time available for each loop.  You are
ready to record all loops fresh.  

When clearing all loops, you can do the long rec, long
mult from within any loop (clears all loops).
