OSX has the scheduler from the MACH kernel, right?  You definitely 
shouldn't see a decrease in performance of any app running under OSX, 
which was maybe your point.  Contention for shared resources might still 
decrease the relative performance, but not to the extent of running the 
same apps under a single-processor environment.
