Also similar to Louis Andriessen's "Il Duce" which uses a tape loop that 
feeds back on itself, gradually getting more distorted.  That piece works 
a little faster than Lucier's (I think it's about 15 minutes instead of an 
hour).  I used my digitech 7.6 sec delay and got a very similar result.
