Re: Chicago loopers..And ReMixing ?

I am no longer a "purest", when it comes to mixin'. I don't use dual CD's, but I do use the Numark DMC 1, with PCdj Red hooked up to my PC. I do all my remixes and save them to MP3, then I use the DMC 1 to mix them up. It's kinda like using the Dual CD's, except thtat I am using remixes that I have redone in ReCyCle and ACID.

My 1200's have been resting for about 2 months, since I remix straight from the digital source (CD's, MP3's that were ripped from CD's , etc.).

we are downsizing our setup but I used to spin-
you might not like this- dual CDs which was mixed
with the realtime instruments.
For those that care the CDs I spun were beats
and soundscapes the band or I created.
You haven't lived if you're a keyboard player and
you loop on the fly, it's like a realtime sequencer.
