i've used this stompinground stuff for a buncha years:
strong, flexible, cheap & *travels very well* --- i travel, a lot; 
sometimes 
the gear goes by freight (rockit cargo / fedex), sometimes it goes 
under-the-plane (argh):
no problems at all, for my pedals: none.
