OT: rebirth and reason?

hey all,

just started using reason, but i'm stuck on the Dr. Rex loop player.

Is there other software that can create/convert to the REX files 
needed for this, other than Rebirth?  I'm not really interested in 
Rebirth much, so i would prefer to use something else to convert .wav 
and .aif files that i have stored for use in Dr. Rex.
