Just a guess - but she probably has image downloading disabled.  For any 
<img> tags on your site use the "ALT" attribute to put in text that 
describes the image (or if the image is of text, then the text of the 
image (loop content?)).

Not sure how an image map works without images - but I think that the 
<area> tag has an ALT attribute as well.
