OT:fred rogers a looper?

ted-well put.
wow, he started in '68 (i would have been 4). i never watched him or 
sesame st as a kid (i was a devout capt. kangaroo-ite. actually i 
watched capt kangaroo more when i hit the high school age than when i 
was young...
it's funny i saw a show a few months back, and they always started 
the same, he walked in, took shoes off, sings, etc...he lived a 
loop....
the other thing i think of is i'm glad his show is on (still), as a 
parent w/ my son, there is a lot of crap on, his show is not crap. 
perhaps sentimental and simple, but good in a lot of ways....
