It sounds like you want some type of film transducer. I have a Pick Up The World (PUTW) #27 on my Lowden. It amplifies all sounds coming from the top and sides. Where you put it will determine the frequency that comes out. When you find the "sweet spot", it will sound just like your guitar, only louder. You will probably also need some type of preamp (external or internal; I use a Raven Labs Blender) to boost the signal.
