I have been watching Linux, but so far there just isn't enough really good audio software (or maybe I'm just not aware of it) available to make me think the switch is viable. Although, now that Mac has gone UNIX-based with OSX, maybe some of those developers might start thinking about porting to Linux. It would be a smaller leap now... Hey, look at what I just found on one of those Linux pages: "Sooperlooper is a "looping sampler very much like the Gibson/Oberheim Echoplex Digital Pro".
