after ending record with Overdub,
hit Overdub again to switch it off !

......also fyi

the 95% feedback on Overdub thing won't happen if there's no input
to the EDP.
Watch the little LCD point at the bottom of the loop number
indicator on the display. When that flashes an "auto-undo" has
been performed, which means that the loop is preserved
exactly.
