questionable "loopers"

I didn't know that the VG-8 or VG-88 was used as a looper.  Are you sure
about this?  Are
there any other questionable "loopers" on this list you've compliled?

----->  On this subject--I tried doing some stuff with the Kaoss Pad II
yesterday, it definitely loops!  But no overdub or decay (feedback)--it's a
sample player--and the MIDI control is very limited.
