OT: heavy rack support

I just bought a 16-space shockmount rack for my studio equipment.  
There's some fairly heavy gear I'm going to want in there, and it's 
going to be chock-full, so I'm concerned about all the gear hanging from 
the front rails.  The rack has rear rails too, so I'd think I could find 
some supports that would connect between the two to distribute the 
weight.  Should I be concerned?  Anyone run into this and find a solution?
