What I was saying is that it can not do this on the one and same loop - like the EDP or the Repeater (thatıs overdubbing "sound-on-sound"). In Ableton you can record and play back as many loops, of different length, as your CPU can take. But instead of recording different audio into one loop you have to put your loops on multiple channels. Then you are free to fade those channels (with the loops) in and out of the main mix.
