Kim- Exactly..."tourists". But if you look at the demographics of "The City", the majority of the people who live there are not from there. And the people who protest the most about "Frisco" are people who are not from "The City" to begin with but desperately want to fit in and thus adopt the feigned horror of the locals at the use of this nickname. Not really useful as a device to differentiate the tourist from the locals at all...
