You should at least add the specification.
"When a note-On is sent, a corresponding note-off must be sent when 
the foot is taken off the switch"

Sadly, I don't see how it's possible to make the device programmable 
at that price.
That's a major software job.
You'd have to decide what preset functions you want in advance.
