You have an EV10, Lucky! Mine just broke after many years of faithful service, its a drag because they are more solid than the flimsy EV5, and you can determine the cable length, I'd use that if I was you. I just bought an M-Audio expression pedal to rplace it that is a little bigger than the EV5, but still light weight, and works fine with my Roland gear. Seems somewhat sturdy in a plastic sort of way Ha Ha! I agree that an expression pedal really adds dimension to the VF1, What do you mean by sweep delay?, where the delay speeds up or slows down, creating pich bend effects? or the ability to modulate the delay? clarify please. I do have a MIDI controller, a Rolls MIDI Buddy. I was just looking to explore my options and save a few pounds in a rack that's starting to get porky before I've even gotten it all working ;-) Same reason I'm hesitant to use my great big EV-10. BTW, can you sweep delay time a la Adrian Belew? ~Tim > [Original Message] > From: jeremy <listing.to.port@masse.org.uk> > To: <Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com> > Date: 11/12/2005 11:36:29 AM > Subject: Re: VF-1 controller question > > Hi Tim, > > Without answering actually answering your question, I find the use of an > expression pedal adds considerably to the VF-1's functionality, not least > because you can control up to four parameters with the one pedal.
