eBay's phishing-alert address RE: spam alert

Good to know, and thanks... I get about 2 of those a week. In Tim's Perfect World these "people" would be tracked down by a mighty Geek Squad and pilloried in public so peole can throw SPAM at them...either in the can or out.

You should fwd it to phishing@ebay.com , but I'm sure a tech-savvy guy like you is waaaay ahead of me on that (LOL).

Cheers,
Tim the PseudoLuddite

Subject: spam alert

Just thought I'd let you know that something or somebody's trawling for emails here - I got a bogus email from ebay about somebody trying to 'bruteforce' their way into my ebay account.  Since ebay doesn't have this email account on their file, I thought something smelled phishy...

So, as always, don't believe everything you read.

If there a list admin that would like to see the email for evaluation purposes, let me know.

ted harms.
