I don't know, does it Rick? Your question was in response to me saying 
that 
when I searched for myself on Google, more results came up after I had 
entered my artist info on a variety of musician sites. That was the 
context. 
My answer seemed like a logical extension of the context, but forgive me 
if 
I misinterpreted it.  If you were asking how to tell how many hits you are 
getting on your web site and from where, then I would have responded as 
Kim 
did below, but with actual examples of services, ways of doing it, etc. 
And 
what if  "any decent web host" doesn't provide you with this info? Well, 
then I would have listed services like those listed here: 
http://www.emailaddresses.com/email_counters.htm

Google analytics is one such tool, when it becomes available. 
http://www.google.com/analytics/  I just signed up to be notified when it 
is 
available.
