I didn't like his stuff either, but now I've just found out that I
do. Surprisingly. Those cartoonish ultra fast jazz fusion solos that
used to sound like noise to my ears have now gained a terrific "genre
commentating value". I also like the crazy Flo and Eddie vocals that
I found "just stupid" in the seventies. Taste changes ;-) Need get a
copy of The Grand Wazoo, can't wait to check that one out with my
"new ears".
