I'd recommend the Zoom 2100 in a flash, except for the number of buttons, whose settings are all indicated by a two-digit LED with dots ingeniously used for bank setting indicators. Input overload! It's a joy to use though as you can switch between patches quickly. For teaching purposes not involving what might be 'standard fx units' I doubt the 2100 would pass, but just get the patches programmed, and voila. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nick Schillace" <americansketch@gmail.com> To: <Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com> Sent: Friday, 31 March, 2006 17:36 PM Subject: Re: Cheap FX for Teaching > that might be a little too pricey. are any of the zoom boards >recommended? > ns > > On 3/31/06, Per Boysen <perboysen@gmail.com> wrote: >> On 31 mar 2006, at 18.26, Nick Schillace wrote: >> >> > something with wide range of choices to expose >> > students to a lot of sounds. of course it would be GREAT to have a >> > modest looper included with some overdub capabilities. some type of >> > drum machine would be cool too. >> >> >> How about the Digitech GNX300? >> >> Greetings from Sweden >> >> Per Boysen >> www.boysen.se (Swedish) >> www.looproom.com (international) >> http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast? >> id=128679560&s=143456 >> >> >> >> >> > > > > > >
