Re: AW: Laptop Looping - Mobius latency compensation

 > Can you turn it on and off while Mobius is running?

Yes, the amount of latency compensation is defined by the "Override
Input Latency Frames" and "Override Output Latency Frames" parameters
in the Audio Devices dialog. If there is no value here, or if the
value is zero, I ask the audio device for what it thinks the latency
will be. Some devices return accurate latency values, some don't.
The value is displayed to the right of the two override number fields.

You can tweak these values while Mobius is running. If you have
Monitor Input turned on, the input will be passed to the output so you
will hear the input delayed by the total system latency. In this case
you usually want to turn off Mobius input latency compensation because
you are already mentally compensating.

While checking this I noticed that you probably can't turn off
latency compensation by putting a zero in the two override boxes.
If there is a zero here I ask the device and most devices report
a non-zero latency. So you probably need to put a 1 here which
will be undetectable.
