My
performer experience is just the same as my listening experience. I
like to listen to music that brings similar "memories" as the music I
play, even though it may differ on the outer surface (style,
instrumentation).

 ... and taking the easy way,
i'm nearer to per's experience,
but i'll add "technique" between
the brackets.
