When you use quantization, there will usually be a delay between when you press a button and when the function actually happens. Mobius won't start playing the extended loop immediately from the beginning if you end the multiply before the end of the cycle, it will continue until the end of the cycle. I'm fairly certain the EDP works the same way. Here is an example: - quantizization is Cycle - record a loop of 4 seconds - near second 2 press Multiply - you will not enter multiply mode until you reach the end of the loop at second 4, anything you overdub during this period is lost - at second 4 the loop is extended one cycle, it is now 8 seconds long, you may begin overdubbing - at second 6 press Multiply - the multiply will continue until second 8 because the ending has been quantized to the end of the second cycle If you want to begin overdubbing immediately after you press Multiply, you should turn Quantize off.
