Dear loopers, I finally get to write a few words about my experience at the Cologne and Konstanz Festival in Germany. First of all i want to thank Michael Peters and his wonderful wife for bringing us to the festival and having us stay at their place.Everything went smooth and was brilliantly organized, and everybody involved in the crew was extremely helpful and friendly.the show was succesfully well attended and received with every sit taken in the house and there were even expecators standing watching the show till the very end.People also drove long distances from different countries to see the show, and most of us musicians sold CDs and came out of cologne with our expenses covered plus x-tra fee. For me was specially it was a great experience sharing the stage with nine loopers and getting to know personally the ones that are on this list.Everyones set was brilliant,i myself was not quite satisfied with mine since i had to reduce my equipment to be able to travel by train and because i was dealing with 2 pieces of new equipment which caused some technical problems at the begining of the show.Nevertheless i got through it somehow and was suprised at the reaction of some people who came after the show to kindly give me positive feedback. I followed up playing in the loop show in Konstanz Germany which i organized featuring Rick Walker which went really well, but due to the current football craze and nice weather on that particular day it was less attended than expected. But we still had about 20 people some who also drove from far away to see us and we were very well received with positive reviews on the local papers. I would encourage anybody who has not organized a loop show to do so,it might be a bit of work but it is so rewarding that it is addictive, just getting to know pople on this list and spending time sharing time together exchanging ideas and learning from each other is worth the effort! cheers to all of you looping friends who were at the shows!
