Abletons forum has been down for twelve hours now, so I have not been able to check with the guys over ther. Anyway, I noticed (from posts here) that I did not describe the issue properly so I'd like to add that it only happens when playing live audio through Live 7.x. It doesn't matter if Live's sequencer is running or not and it doesn't matter if I'm looping in a plug-in or not. The bug hits when audio from the input is running through the software to be played back from an output. I have been using Live since version three, in both OS X and Windows XP, and I have not seen this bug until versio 7.0. When 7.0.2 had the same bug I stopped using Live because I knew a new version was on the way - but now when 7.0.2 is here and still stops every tenth second there must be something wrong with it! We have had an OS X upgrade during this time, so I guess it must be related to Live. What happens is that every tenth second the audio just stops for a second. It's just like unplugging the chord, but no "pop" or so. Just a blank "nothing", followed by the CPU jumping up to 111 percent from the usual 5 percent. (Screensaver, sleep mode, bluetooth and airport all turned off). I'll post this to Ableton's bug report area as soon as they get the forum running again. -- Greetings from Sweden Per Boysen www.boysen.se (Swedish) www.looproom.com (international) www.myspace.com/perboysen
