Well, this new "feature" is great, Mike!

It's even better:
Essentially, when you use an external foot switch with the RC-2, the stop 
function will work just like on the RC-20XL & RC-50, which means:
WHEN YOU KEEP THE EXTERNAL STOP PEDAL PRESSED ON THE RC-2 FOR LONGER THAN 
2 SECONDS, IT WILL DELETE THE CURRENT LOOP.
You don't need to tweak anything, no need to switch polarity, adjust a 
drum pattern etc - it just works all the time!!! :-)) And your set to 
record a new loop immediately. This opens a whole new dimension of 
possibilities...
Man, this is really what I LOVE about the Boss RC-* Loopers. Just about 
when you know _everything_ about it, you stumble over a completely unkown 
feature :))
