Yes, attractive as the idea of the standalone VST box is, it seems that every time one comes out it boils down to the same two drawbacks:
1. Too expensive
2. (As someone else said) Well suited for "set and forget" synth and effect plugin chains but not for things that you
do a lot of interacting with during a performance, i.e. the way most people use loopers.
