i had never set out to be an "entertainer".....i just look like a befuddeled old man who appears lost....."will he fall down if he tries to use two pedals at once?" and this is when i was sitting down.....i've been to many shows where there was no showmanship (joe pass, ralph towner, frizell,  etc), i was transfixed and i had come away very moved and satisfied.....someone said in a past post that you see more with your eyes closed.....i do agree, though, that a computer is the kiss of death in terms of an interesting show and that "showmanship" many times covers a lack of musicianship.....and as i've said in the past, tin foil hats are a real crowd pleaser.....michael
