Re: Sooperlooper or Mobius? Going back to software.

I'm somewhat confused as well. Currently, I have: Rane Line Level Mixer, Presonus Firebox, 2 amps with line out, and a roland jazz chorus as a monitor. Is it even possible to achieve near-zero latency?

From what I gather though, per runs all of his signals into different inputs of a mixer , then puts mobius in the bus of the mixer with 100% wet signal. This way, the audio signals of the inputs aren't affected by latency of the looper , and the looper signal doesn't act as a 'monitor' for the signal, whereas on an EDP you can hear the incoming audio at the same time.

oh,wait a minute,i use a mixer and put mobius or the EDP in the monitor send and return to a channel, when you say you put loopers on a submix bus and set to no dry signal is your sound sorce like guitar being output also on the same channel as the looper is? can you develop a little maybe i am doing something wrong, but the EDP seems a bit more responsive,i take it you are using a mixer correct?
cheers
