Thanks for the offer.  In the mean time, my German friend, who started 
off needed the manual and got me onto this device, just located the PDF 
manual.  I'm about reading it, and will decide on the offer I have.

Looks pretty interesting, and AFAIK, audio quality should be great.
I'm still unsure if it'll do what I want (rewire 2-3 guitar preamps and 
a pedal in series and/or parallel/stacked) without one of the other 
companion devices.  Anything I should know ?
