I'm not sure how you can call music "good" or "bad" for us. If you like it and it touches something in you and expresses something you feel or helps you express something you feel, than it's good. Whether or not you like it is a totally different story. I'm sure some kid with an 808 would listen to one of my rambling slowly morphing ambient bits and feel that music with no obvious direction is pointless. My take is, if you make music and it makes you happy than the tools you use are of no importance. Mark P.S. (my robots are (sadly) all unfunctioning toys (though the full size Lost In Space cardboard cut out is pretty impressive) that surround me and my computer. I work for a game company, so there's a lot of that. I do have a Roomba at home though, but since we moved to a 4 story condo it doesn't get much use.
