I can't tell if it can or not? And, I'll admit that I not the "best" person to ask concerning this type of subject matter. :-) But,I do not see anything specific relating to that, and this is 1987 we're talking about here and maybe it is just worded differently and I can't tell? And, like I said previously, I never used it, and don't even know *how* to use it! Ha! Just came in the package deal I got a few yrs ago. There is something about "system exclusive, transmitted / recognized" but I am not sure if that is what yer after? (Or....?) You'd likely know better than I. :-)

i've been trying to find the manual online, but with no luck. is there any way you could have a quick look at yours and see if it will send out pc messages and cc messages (any number and value) as part of a looped pattern? much appeciated!

I have an older (1987) Korg SQD-8, 8 track midi recorder that I don't need and never used. Got it in a package deal long ago with a bunch of other stuff, but never used it, and don't even know *how* to use it! :-) But, it is real clean looking, not a scratch on it, etc. No power source, but it takes DC9V, and I have the owner's manual. It also uses floppies for data storage. Has midi in / out / thru, and a mini-plug phones jack. I'd take only $20 for it, plus whatever the postage might be. It would also be *one less thing* laying around in my limited space to have to deal with, which would be just fine with me:-)
