Open up the FCB, and you'll see how easy converting it is.
Cut off the expression pedals.  And/or cut the other end shorter to let 
go of some buttons and rearrange the remaining buttons via a DIY-easy 
custom wiring mesh.
The controller/software doesn't care if not all buttons and/or pedals 
are 'there'; it doesn't test who's at home..
