The last 2 Death Ambient recordings are fabulous, "Drunken Forest" in 
particular.

I think "Killing Time" still blows away the later Massacre records, though 
they are very good.

As long as you're including Frith in avant-garde, which for some reason I 
wasn't, there are some more obscure titles that are really great... I'll 
dig those up later.

Let me also put in a plug for someone who may have a trio or two somewhere 
in his discography, and isn't too active in recordings these days, but 
made some unique and riveting music - Hans Reichel. I particularly love 
Bonobo Beach and Death of the Rare Bird Ymir.

Also, just read about another trio Frith formed with Kato Hideki 
(bass), and Ikue Mori (drum machines) called Death Ambient.  Haven't 
heard that one yet, however.
