Hi guys! I'm new to the looping world but I really want to explore it... I play several percussion instruments, plus bass and guitar and do some vocals also.. I'm interested in strict live looping as well as using computer loops of indian drones and instruments and so on... so my question is a huge one i think...hope that there's someone so kind to explain me and give me advice. It is convenient for me to have a laptop and a software for the loops or it's better a drum machine, another machine for indian music loops etc..? if the laptop is better what kind (mac or not, what requirment and model, what audio interface and so on and what software?) thinking I'll get the boss rc 50, what the more ocnvenient setup to have good sound and no feedback.levels problems on stage? plugging all my instruments on a mixer and then in one of the rc-50 input..or separate mics with a preamp (or not) into the mic input and instruments with a mixer or d.i. in the line input? and how to use the stereo outputs? lots of questions, sorry...please, please, help me...:) Andrea Date: Fri, 1 Oct 2010 17:50:52 +0200 Subject: Re: Boomerang 3 vs. Boss RC-50 From: e.a.antoniou@gmail.com To: Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com As far as I know you can only do that by saving the loop as wav and copying it to the rc-50 as a phrase, so you can trigger it anytime cheers, andreas
