This is what I'm doing now and I love it. Two DL4s with volume pedals and 
an a/b switch. Switch from one to the other, fade out the first when 
you're tired of it. You can fade it with the volume pedal or by putting it 
into overdub mode and letting it fade out on its own while you're playing 
with the other looper. It's a nice, organic way to work, IMO.
