midi drum pattern editor question and a vst

HI all,

two questions for today.

1. Can anybody recommend a decent free MIDI drum pattern editor that will import/export MID files? I've used DrumFlow, but I'm not entirely happy with it. I want something like MIDIDrums, but that will save to a MID file.

2. Anybody tried this: http://thepiz.org/plugins/?p=midiLooper
