is the evoloop going to be a pedal or rack? when do you estimate it will be available?

No idea,
but Matthias told me the other day that the "Thru" socket on the EDP
doesn't have a midi delay.
That probably means that daisy chaining a pair of EDPs in stereo
is a lot less likely to lose sync if the chaining is done via
the Thru socket on the first EDP rather than the Midi Output.
If you still have the pair of EDPs that might answer your problems
better than hoping for EDP like functions on a stereo looper.
Could at least be worth sticking with the edp pair until
Matt's Evoloop becomes available.
Otherwise the Looperlative LP1 will copy stereo loops as you describe.
(can be quantised to loop being copied)

hi rangers:
the rang 3 is really catching my eye now,is it possible to do a sort of multiply? that is copy the contents of loop 1 as you are recording and adding content by overdubbing and make loop 2 longer than the initial one? can you define the length of loop 2 (for example loop 1 is in 4/4 and loop 2 is in 3/4 or is it quantized and dependent on the master loop? this si soemthing essential in songwritting and something most compact loopers lack!
