i got a pair of active Tannoy Reveals a few years ago (version 5 with the blue fronts) and haven't regretted it one bit. i mixed and mastered my latest album on them and it sounded great when i took it down to a proper mastering studio to check it was ok. i only had to adjust some of the ultra low frequencies, as i have no subwoofer.
