Re: OT: Suggestions for monitor speakers

I have PMC LB1S, they go down to 25HZ and do they sound accurate. The bass is amazing: You need a large enough room and acoustic treatment so you room does not start to rumble. Smaller PMC monitors also sound great and have more lows than comparably sized monitors from other makers. It has to do with the way they handle the bass. Look it up at PMC monitors. It is really worth investing in monitors and sound treatment if you want to have professional results.
I prefer dynaudio to Genelec if you are goign for small nearfield. The small Genelec monitors are very compressed and they tend t hurt my ears after a long day on th job. They are pleasant but I believe a bit flattereing.
