| I've generally found that the ease of reconfiguring a pedalboard is inversely proportional with how securely the pedals are fastened to the board. The "hook" part of Velcro (on the pedal) sticks pretty well to polypropylene auto carpet (on the board) and is repositionable, but inevitably (given the weight of the pedals) the Velcro hook and loop part ends up being stronger than the adhesive on the back of the Velcro. When I was gigging 4-5 times a week and had settled into a board that didn't have to be changed very often, I had the pedals held down by lamp cord and screws with washers.
